Additional Riders


  • Accelerated Death Benefit: This rider will provide a lump sum benefit if the insured is diagnosed as terminally ill and expected to pass within the next 24 months. 


  • Waiver of Premium Benefit: After satisfying a 180-Day Elimination Period, this rider will waive all premiums due on the policy for as long as the Insured continues to be totally disabled.


  • Guaranteed Insurability Option Rider: This rider allows the Insured to purchase additional coverage without evidence of insurability at ages 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40, 43 and 46.


  •  Long-Term Care Accelerated Death Benefit Rider: After satisfying a 90-Day Elimination Period, this rider accelerates a set % (2%, 4%, or 8%) of the policy’s death benefit every month for as long as the Insured meets the definition of Chronic Illness. A physician must certify, for a period of at least 90 days, the Insured is unable to perform 2 of 6 Activities of Daily Living (bathing, continence, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring)


  • Purchase Option Rider: Add the Long-Term Care Accelerated Death Benefit Rider to a new permanent plan at time of conversion without evidence of insurability. (Without this rider, a LTC Rider may be added at time of conversion but will be subject to underwriting.)
